Late basketball player nicknamed “Wah Wah” who won two NCAA National Championships at the University of Kentucky. He later went on to play for the NBA’s short-lived Indianapolis Olympians organization from 1949 to 1952.

He set a national scoring record at Harlan High School. In addition to basketball, he was also an All-State football and baseball player.

He won four consecutive SEC titles at Kentucky and led the team to an astonishing 130-10 record over that span.

He has a younger sister named Jackie.
