Goaltender nicknamed Razor or Sugar Ray who spent 11 seasons in the NHL. He played for the Ottawa Senators from 2005 until 2008 and led them to the Stanley Cup Finals. He played briefly for the Atlant Moscow, Philadelphia Flyers and Anaheim Ducks before spending two seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks, winning a second Stanley Cup Final in 2013.
He was the 99th overall pick in the 2001 NHL entry draft, chosen by the Ottawa Senators.
He became the first goaltender in NHL history to ever start a season with 10 straight wins during his 2013 start with the Blackhawks.
He has brothers named Nicholas and Andrew. He was briefly engaged to Canadian singer Keshia Chante in 2016 but they called things off. He tragically died from drowning in 2018.
He and teammate Corey Crawford both won the William M. Jennings Trophy for goaltending.
