Attacking midfielder most notably known for his powerful long-distance goals. He is one of the greatest goal scorers in Leeds history, holding the club record of 238 goals.

He signed to play professional soccer with Leeds United in May of 1962. He eventually made his Leeds debut at the age of 15 years and 289 days against Southampton on September 29, 1962. He became the youngest player in Leeds’ history to play for the first team.

After retiring, he became a member of the Leeds board of directors.
