English painter and poet who often wrote with his sisters Charlotte, Emily, and Anne on work that included number 1-3 of The Young Men’s Magazine in 1830.
He read extensively as a young boy and was taught to paint by portrait painter William Robinson.
He once worked for Manchester and Leeds Railway and Sowerby Bridge railway station as an assistant clerk.
He was born the fourth of six children and the only son of Patrick Bronte and Maria Branwell Bronte.
He would send poems and translations to author Thomas Dequincey during his time working as a tutor.
